Snow Day!!!

Thanks to the snow from Saturday night and Sunday, the whole family was home for a snow day today!  The forecast initially called for 3-4 inches but we ended up receiving about 9 inches total.  We decided to pull out the Go Pro this afternoon to get some nice footage of fun in the snow.  Enjoy and I hope you don't get motion sickness!

Kaitlyn and Dad Go Kayaking on New Year's Day

A quick entry to share the kayaking trip Kaitlyn and I took to Ashburn Lake on New Year's Day.  Kaitlyn asked to get out in the kayak so who was I to say no :)  Temps were in the low 50s and the overcast skies and breeze made it feel a little cooler.  We brought a few worms and fished for a bit but had no luck.  It was a fun way for my little girl and I to to kick off 2019.  Here's hoping for a happy and healthy 2019 for all.

2018 One Second Everyday

This is the 3rd year that I've used the One Second Everyday app to create a "year in review" video for our family.  The app allows you to choose a small (1-1.5 second) video clip or photo from your camera roll every calendar day.  I usually go in every few weeks (or sometimes a month or 2 goes by) and select which videos or photos I want to use for each day.  There are days when I don't have any photos or videos, but because I really cherish these videos year after year, I've gotten better about remembering to take them.
